I was introduced to yoga in my early 20s and I practiced on and off for years-however, it truly became a part of my life when I decided to complete a power yoga teaching certification through Amazing Yoga in September 2019. I knew I wanted to learn more and dive deeper into yoga and thus completed a yin yoga certification in May 2020 and most recently a 200 hr YTT in vinyasa yoga through Yoga Flow in June 2021. I will always be a student of yoga and I am forever grateful for the wisdom and peace it provides me. I seek to empower and embody others to live a life that nurtures their mind, body and spirit.
I love to play with creative sequencing and mindful movements that help you to deepen your practice both on and off the mat. I am certified in Power, Vinyasa and Yin yoga so you may find a variety of styles incorporated into my classes. You may find us holding poses for many breaths to build strength and endurance or may find us moving continuously linking breath with mindful movement. Alternatively, I love to teach a yin stye class where we hold poses for 3 to 5 minutes to allow the student time to experience stillness and wholeness within the body, mind and spirt.
I love to travel and I live for adventures -you may find me exploring the old cities of Europe, climbing and trekking mountains in the Himalayas or getting lost along the coast in New Zealand. I am always in the process of working on a new adventure to take!
When I am not teaching and practicing yoga, you will find me coaching and training in CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting at Beyond Parallel Fitness Community in Cranberry Township and teaching fitness, weightlifting and gymnastics at Aspire Gymnastics and Fitness in Zelienople! My husband and I live in Harmony, PA and we own Aspire Gymnastics & Fitness in Zelienople, PA.
