Korie has been practicing yoga for a good portion of her life. As a previous dancer, yoga immediately felt familiar. She had taken classes at other studios and started taking community classes at Yoga Flow and felt right at home. Her love for the studio and the overall welcoming environment the teachers created was the perfect escape from a full time corporate job. Whether it's teaching or being a student in class, there is no place she enjoys more than being on her mat.
After several years of wanting to go through training, timing finally was right and she completed her 200 hour teacher training at Yoga Flow in 2021. She hopes to create a safe space where someone of any identity or body type can come find yoga, whether you're a seasoned yogi or never tried a class before.
When she's not in the studio, you can find Korie on a trail with her dog Finn, exploring Pittsburgh, or outside with a good book.
